A stamp card on the phone
You type four things. The card is ready.
Email, password, your shop’s name and the location’s. We set the rest so the card looks right before you change anything. Your customer scans a code at the counter and collects stamps on their phone.
About 15 minutes, printing included — our estimate. Free during the pilot.

The result
This is the card when you type only the name.
Initials instead of a logo, cobalt, 8 stamps, a sentence about the reward. There is no empty slot waiting for you to fill it — because you do not have to.
If you like, you can change five things: the logo, one colour out of three, the reward text, the number of stamps and the card’s language. Nothing else — which is why every card looks good.

Six trades
Who it is for
The same product, six different conversations. Every one of these trades has its own rhythm of return, and the card counts exactly the rhythm that makes sense in yours.
Kebab and street food
Eighth kebab free
Lunch is a habit, not a decision. Whoever eats with you on Wednesday eats with you on Friday — as long as there is a reason it is you and not the next window along.
Coffee shop and bakery
Tenth coffee free
The shortest return cycle there is. Ten visits is two weeks, not two years, so the reward is within reach from the first day.
Barber and hairdresser
Sixth cut at half price
A cut every four weeks is already a calendar. The card only makes sure it is your calendar and not the place by the tram stop.
Shisha and lounge
Fifth session free
People come to a lounge in a group and out of habit. The card has one owner and brings four people through the door.
Nails and beauty
Sixth treatment a third off
An appointment every three weeks, always with the same person. The card is what keeps that person yours when somebody opens cheaper down the street.
Car wash
Fifth wash free
A wash is a fifteen-second decision made at a junction. Four stamps are the only reason to turn right instead of left.
Not your trade? The card counts visits, and visits count everywhere. You set the number of stamps and the reward — the rest is the same.
How to start
Four steps, about 15 minutes.
This is the whole setup, optional parts included.

The reward

The counter
~7 minPrint the counter card on any printer and open the counter screen on a phone or tablet at the till. If it is a tablet, set a five-digit PIN your staff use to give rewards. You can also order your first print kit free — we print it and post it.
- PIN (tablet)
Four steps. You have to type four things — the outlined fields. Everything else has a default or can wait.
This is an estimate: we counted the fields and clicks; we have not timed a shop owner yet.
What the reward costs
A free kebab for 8 stamps is 11% — and only for those who came back.
With 8 stamps the customer pays for eight and gets the ninth. That is one in nine — about 11% — but only for someone who has been in eight times. A flyer discount gives the same money to everyone, including people who never come back.
You set the number of stamps. At ten it is 9%.
What the research says
In a café with a “buy ten coffees, get one free” card, the gaps between purchases shrank by 20% on average from the first stamp to the last. 949 completed cards; Kivetz, Urminsky and Zheng, Journal of Marketing Research, 2006.
This is research on stamp cards in general, not on Kai.
Stamps
What you do not need
- A designer or a print shop — the materials are ready as PDF.
- A new till or terminal — a phone or tablet will do.
- A payment card — you pay nothing during the pilot.
- A one-year contract — notice is 30 days.
What the customer does
- Scans the code at the till with the phone camera.
- Gives a phone number — the card is theirs, on a new phone too.
- At the last stamp the card turns into a voucher they show at the till.
- Installs nothing.

What is ready and what is not
Works
- The card on the customer’s phone, in your colours, in four languages.
- A counter screen on a phone or tablet, with a code that changes every 30 seconds.
- Giving rewards at the till — confirmed on a tablet with the staff PIN.
- Six print materials as PDF.
Not yet
- A test at a real till with a stranger. The first shop is being set up, and until that test happens we do not show it here as a reference.
To check: the state of the V1.8 tests on the day this is published - Company registration. The name, address and tax ID will be on the site and in the terms before Kai leaves the pilot.
- Charging. You pay nothing in the pilot, and before it starts you get the price and the date in advance.
Kai is only a stamp card. It is not a till, not a marketing system and not guest WiFi. One card, one counter, one reward.

For the first ten businesses — 49 PLN for each of their locations. The rate is stored on your account and stays for as long as the account runs without a break — even if the list price goes up.

Everything in the product: the card, the counter, print materials, four languages, unlimited customers. A second location is a second line on the invoice.
No setup fee · no fixed-term contract · 30 days’ notice
- Prices net + 23% VAT.
- Notice: 30 days, either side. Your customers then have 30 more days to claim rewards, and you to export their data.
- There is also a free plan: one location, a capped number of customers, the “Powered by Kai Rewards” badge stays on the card.
To be decided: the customer cap is not written down anywhere — show this plan or not?
Before you ask
The questions people ask
Does the customer have to install an app?
No. After scanning the code the card opens in the phone’s browser. It can be added to the home screen, but it does not have to be.
What if a customer changes phone?
Stamps live on the account, not the phone. The customer signs in with their phone number or email and has them back.
Can someone game it?
The counter code changes every 30 seconds, so a photo sent to a friend does not work. One visit earns the number of stamps you set — one by default — and another scan during the same visit (4 hours by default) adds nothing. There is also a daily maximum, eight by default.
In which languages?
Polish, Ukrainian, English and German. The customer picks their own language, whatever yours is — a Ukrainian customer sees the card in Ukrainian.
Whose is the customer data?
Yours. Kai processes it on your behalf under the data processing agreement you accept at signup. You can export it.
And if I quit?
You give 30 days’ notice. Your customers then have 30 more days to claim rewards — nobody is left with a dead card overnight.
Four things and a quarter of an hour
Email, password, shop name, location name. We set the rest for you.
For customers
Are you a customer?
Your stamp cards are in the customer app at kairewards.app. Sign in there to see your stamps. You get a new card by scanning the code in a shop.
On a computer? Scan the code with your phone camera — nothing to install.
